Privacy policy

What we collect

Two kinds of form on this site send us information, and both are optional. The newsletter form asks for an email address. The interest list form on the interest list pageasks for a name and an email address. That is all either form asks for.

We do not take payments, applications, transcripts, or documents through this site. There are no user accounts and no login. If you email us instead, your email contains whatever you choose to include. Phone and email providers may also process ordinary connection or message metadata under their own terms.

What we do with it

We use it to reply to you and to send occasional updates about the school as it is built, including news about whether and when applications open. We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it, and we do not use it for advertising.

Analytics, and why it is off by default

This site can use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and see which pages people read. It does not run until you press “Allow analytics” in the consent banner. Before you choose, and if you choose Decline, the Google Analytics script is never loaded and no analytics cookies are set. It also does not run on preview or local builds, only on the live thechristianschool.net domain.

After consent, GA4 can derive approximate country, region, and city reports from the connection IP address. Google says it discards the raw IP address after processing, and TCS cannot see it in Analytics. This site does not request your device location or GPS position.

Your choice is stored in your own browser, in local storage, under a key named “tcs-ga4-consent-v1”. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can change your mind at any time with the “Analytics settings” link at the bottom of any page. Declining after having allowed it also clears the Google Analytics cookies this site set. Clearing your browser storage resets the choice, and the banner asks again.

Who else handles your information

• Netlify hosts this site and receives form submissions. A submission passes through Netlify before it reaches us.
• Google processes analytics data, and only after you allow it.

Both companies handle that information under their own privacy terms, which we do not control. You can read the Netlify privacy statement and the Google privacy policy.

Your information, on request

Write to info@thechristianschool.net or call 909-588-6564 and ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. You can expect a reply within two business days. We may need to confirm you are the person the information belongs to before we act on the request. Asking us to stop emailing you is enough to be taken off the list.

Children

This site is aimed at adults considering a graduate-level program. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child sent us something, tell us and we will remove it.

Changes

The Christian School is in development, and this policy will change as the school does. When it changes materially we will say so on this page. This page describes current practice rather than making a legal guarantee.
